Transport Canada Minimum Requirements
Prerequisites:
An applicant shall hold a Canadian Pilot Licence.
Medical Requirement:
Valid Category 1 or 3 Medical
Knowledge:
In preparation for the flight test the following topics with be reviewed
- Multi-Engine Theory
- Aircraft Systems
- Aircraft Performance
- Weight and Balance
- Emergency Procedures
Flight Training Experience:
There is no minimum flight time required for the rating.
Sufficient dual flight instruction shall be completed to meet flight test standards.
Ground School:
There is no ground school or written exam required for the multi-engine rating.
Skill:
A flight test with a Pilot Examiner must be completed at the end of your flight training.
